As you know I work remotely and that means mostly from home. As much as I love my new home office and am attending a lot of meetings (so interacting with other human beings) I do miss the little office buzz sometimes.
I was very lucky and got a lovely present this Christmas. As I have a lot of meetings and carry my laptop around (usually in a big handbag) I was given a perfect laptop – but still – handbag. So it’s not the usual laptop bag where you can store your laptop and that’s pretty much it or big handbag which is not made to carry a laptop and you can destroy it very quickly.
New Year’s resolutions can be a bit of cliche, but I think that having a few is important. They can be just little ones, like reading or cooking more. But there can be big ones too like getting a new job or saving money of a new car/house deposit etc.
There are three days left! Three days to work and then … Christmas break! However, I believe it’s quite important to stay productive. As much as morning lie-ins, breakfast in bed and watching festive telly all day sounds absolutely amazing and I will definitely do that one or two days next week, it can also be quite bad for our efficiency.
It’s almost Christmas and I know many of us are very very busy. So busy, we left our Christmas shopping to the very last minute. I am sure you saw several articles about the best last minute presents. The best presents for him, for her, for your kids, parents, best friends or secret Santa gifts.
The first winter day is now waaay behind us. The days are shorter, nights are colder. In fact, the days are cold too!
I started this blog as I wanted to track all the little gems I find online or in store and want to buy in the future – for my home office. I got a new shiny job and work remotely. Naturally, my first task was to establish a little place where I can work from. My very own home office.
